IRTG Spring School 2012, Heidelberg, 07-11 May 2012
Physics of Rare Probes
The broad topic of the school allows to gather speakers from many different
fileds comprising elementary and heavy-ion physics both at the highest as well as intermediate energies.
Participants will learn about techniques
developed in order to find the signals which are as small as 10-8 per event
or to set upper limits on signals that could not been found.
(
see the poster).
Traditionally, one day will be spent on some leisure activities in the
surrounding area.
